Blarney U12Bs put in a tremendous, whole - hearted performance before bravely going down 3-1 at home to Kanturk at a beautiful, sunny O'Shea Park. The determined and gutsy display was all the more noteworthy because the team took the field without their regular keeper and centre backs and had been well beaten by the same opposition less than a month ago. Blarney gave as good as they got throughout, defending as if their lives depended on it and also creating plenty of chances at the other end. The score line flattered the visitors. All 12 players can be rightly proud of their displays and gave all in the Blarney colours in front of club President Henry Murphy.. Click here for more details
