Earlier this season, Blarney's Senior team had visited the Turner to play in the Donie Forde Cup Final and had come out on the wrong side of a penalty shoot out against St Marys. So it was a bitter sweet moment when the ref blew up the whistle at the completion of extra time in the prestigious Beamish Senior Cup final against Douglas Hall.
