April 2011- Blarney 96As win the U14 Div 1 League

Blarney's 96As picked up the U14 Div 1 title with a game to spare on Sunday in Crosshaven. Their rivals for the title, Mayfield had been pipped at the post earlier in the day by Bandon but despite the title being in the bag, Paul & Brian's crew stuck to the task. The final score was 6-1 to Blarney with an amazing 4 goals to Shaun and 1 each to Peter & Kenneth. Great credit must go to players, parents, managers and coaches of this squad who have worked through the disappointment of being relegated last season to winning the title. What a way to bounce back. Well done to all
