July 2010 - FAI Summer Soccer School

The FAI Summer Soccer School took place in Blarney United's O'Shea Park from Monday, July 12th to Fri July 16th. We lost about 20 minutes in total to rain but the rest of the time the players were out learning and practicing their skills. A feature this year was the "Skill of the Day" where each day the players were introduced to a new skill; during the day they practiced, and in some cases, perfected the drill and then in the evening they demonstrated the skill to the parents and onlookers. The consensus was that this was the best FAI camp ever in Blarney which was due in no small part to the coaches Stuart, Gavin, Eamonn, Ann - Marie, Eoin, Jason and Andrew.
