We have over 40 involved in the coaching of BU teams, the Seniors are playing a game, no other teams are in action, therefore we expect a VERY large turn out for this practical session.

Thumbs Up was the verdict of the children on the 2008 Summer Soccer School.

 

For the 5th year running, Blarney hosted the FAI Summer Soccer School. Many sponsor changes have taken place in that time but each year the standard of facilities, gear and coaching has improved. This year was no exception. The overwhelming response from the children was that they would be back next year for more. 

 

The camp at Blarney is one of 270 camps taking place nationwide this summer as part of the FAI Summer Soccer School Programme. The programme has been phenomenally successful nationwide, and nowhere more so than Blarney where it was completely sold out for the 4th year running.

 

This year, Paul Reidy, Club Promotion Officer of Cobh Ramblers, popped into the camp in Blarney to give the kids a go at the Soccer Superstar Challenge. We are grateful to local boy Paul for his continued support. We would also like to thank him for his fabulous photos above.
