Coach Training Session and club update.

 

We have over 40 involved in the coaching of BU teams, the Seniors are playing a game, no other teams are in action, therefore we expect a VERY large turn out for this practical session.

Youths and Adults Awards Night

The annual Blarney United Awards night took place on Friday, May 30th in the Castle Hotel, Blarney. The awards were held to coincide with the Golf Awards which took place a little earlier in the evening.

 
Ray O'Leary received the Senior Player of the Year award. Ray was awaty at a wedding on the night and so Brian Murray (first team manager) presented the award to Ray's Mam Catherine Jim McCarthy, club Chairman presented the Club Person of the Year award to Eoghan Moriarity for all of his work in relation to the All Weather Pitch  
   
Ross O'Callaghan received the Junior Player of the Year award from Gerry Riordan.    
 

Aidan Leahy had another great year, playing with the Youths, the Junior Team and the Senior Team. Aidan's achievements were recognised by the club when Neil Riordan presented the Youth Player of the Year award to Aidan.

Liza and Paul will be getting married in Rome at the start of June. The club chairman recognized the event when the made a small contribution to the wedding in recognition of Paul outstanding service to the club over the years as well as for Lisa's patience.
