FAI SUMMER SOCCER SCHOOL IN BLARNEY

JULY 14-18

For the 5th consecutive year, Blarney United will host an FAI Summer Soccer School in O'Shea Park. Cost is €99 per child. One change this year is that there will be no "walk -ons" permitted. So my advise is to book early since the club will be unable to add extra children once the camp is full. The only method for booking is via the FAI website www.fai.ie or via the call centre on 1890-653653.

2nd Apr, 2008: Girls Winter Training Camp

Last weekend Blarney United’s magnificent facilities hosted the inaugural series of games between the Girls Winter Training Programmes from across Munster. The FAI Winter Training Programme is an elite programme designed to further develop talented young female players. There were sides from Cork, Waterford, Tipperary and Kerry in action over the two days at various age levels. The standard was high with the rain failing to dampen the enthusiasm of the players. Many of the players on view will certainly go on to play in the prestigious Gaynor Cup this year and their Blarney experience will undoubtedly stand to them.
