FAI SUMMER SOCCER SCHOOL IN BLARNEY

JULY 14-18

For the 5th consecutive year, Blarney United will host an FAI Summer Soccer School in O'Shea Park. Cost is €99 per child. One change this year is that there will be no "walk -ons" permitted. So my advise is to book early since the club will be unable to add extra children once the camp is full. The only method for booking is via the FAI website www.fai.ie or via the call centre on 1890-653653.

CHELSEA CAMP - A HUGE SUCCESS. Blarney Utd and Chelsea FC got together last week to implement Chelsea's "Football in the Community" program. Four coaches, (Rob, Gareth, David and Dave) came over from Chelsea's training centre in Cobham and provided excellent fun and football for more than 60 kids. All of the coaches were very impressed by the talent and the facilities. "There are definitely kids here worth watching" said head coach David Chandler. Thanks to the coaches and to all the players for such a great week!
