FAI SUMMER SOCCER SCHOOL IN BLARNEY

JULY 14-18

For the 5th consecutive year, Blarney United will host an FAI Summer Soccer School in O'Shea Park. Cost is €99 per child. One change this year is that there will be no "walk -ons" permitted. So my advise is to book early since the club will be unable to add extra children once the camp is full. The only method for booking is via the FAI website www.fai.ie or via the call centre on 1890-653653.

10 week Soccer Sisters Program Starts in Blarney on Fri, Mar 7th

‘Soccer Sisters’ is a new FAI national programme aimed at increasing the number of young girls playing soccer throughout Ireland. Focussing on girls aged between 7 and 12 years of age, the emphasis of the programme is on introducing children to basic movement and soccer skills in a fun and enjoyable environment. This excellent programme will increase participation and improve opportunities for young girls to play soccer. The 10-week programme will kick-off in O'Shea Park, Blarney (Blarney United's ground in Tower, Blarney) on the 7th of March at 5:30. Each week, the girls will play from 5:30pm to 6:30pm under the expert guidance of FAI - qualified coaches. The cost will be €30 per girl.
